I don't see anyone making excuses for racist abuse, I want to know what the 'more teeth' comment meant? we already have a football association who should be dealing with such matters, should we let one of these organisations replace the FA to deal with the stands/grounds full of racists?

I don't know how many games you attend or where I can only comment on the games I go to.
It's very unlikely you'll hear a racist comment at the LS as I've previously said.
The away games I attend are as a rule against the bigger teams in the premier league I've never in recent years heard anyone shout racist abuse.
Most people who live or work anywhere near London have non white neighbours / workmates and people genuinely don't give a toss.
I can't speak for small northern towns or players playing in the Baltics but in big cities here it's certainly not the norm.
I don't know what the fuck the blokes whining about.

You have to be a disingenuous person to think that having a problem with some of what Rose said is wholly down to not liking him (club wise) or thinking people should not call out racism.
He said some important things and he said some stupid things that alienate him from the vast majority of people who experience racism.
The first part is helpful and the second is not.

It’s still boiling down to the dislike of a certain person informing your opinion on whether or not they should suffer racism and how they should react.
The simple bit of all of this is that racism is wrong. It has no place in football. Players shouldn’t be scolded for speaking out against it. If you disagree with that statement in anyway then you need to ask yourself a few questions.
I’m glad to say we have a very welcome society in the whole. I’ve never understood racism and deplore it. What I can’t work out is why deep rooted racists can even be bothered , what a waste of time and energy. What happened in their lives to be so hateful to someone else based only on the colour of their skin. If you say down with a real knuckle dragging racist and asked them why they wouldn’t have an answer and would probably feel quiet silly but be too stupid to admit it.
Allardyce is a wanker. I have great dislike for the charlatan. I don’t dislike him because he is white, it’s because he is a vile turd and one of the last brigade of football abusers.

The divide isn't between players and fans
Its between people who reckon enough is enough and those who don't see its worth talking about or an issue. Including Montenegrans, UEFA & Bonucci of Juve. And lots of white blokes who reckon black blokes should get over it.
All these campaigns where people stand around in front of No Room For Racism banners are just empty words at the moment.

no, racism in football is wrong and pointless in 2019, but for me you have to look at the bloke who's chose to put out the quotes he has and what he is saying. you also have to recognise he's saying this shit at the same time that gangs are stabbing people on a daily basis for very little, does rose need to be a role model for the younger generation? no, but he should look around at the position he's in and maybe say something positive, rather than creating more division between them (the players) and us (the fans)

A) no, it is what it is. most people think footballers get paid way too much. don't think that makes anyone jealous. it's an opinion based upon other careers that perhaps contribute more to the well being of society..police, nurses or carers come to mind for example
B) people get offended for lots of reasons. these 2 have just spoken out in quite a thick selfish manner. clubs in the uk are letting fans get away with saying paki, yid and homophobic chants/comments too but raheem and rose are too thick to make anything other than selfish comments about the issue
c) lots of abuse at football in the past, on the decrease..just like society. the courts just need to punish in line with what the public want. footballers are too thick to lead the way.

Tor next paragraph suggests that he is only sulking when colour comes into it. Which kind of suggest that he is pretty tough taking all of the abuse he gets without comment and only speaks up when it is racist abuse. Perhaps that is his line. It’s a fair line don’t you think?

I honestly can't remember the last time I've heard racsist abuse aimed at any players either at Upton Park or the LS for yonks.
Admittadly I've heard loads of abuse aimed at our own players for generally being useless cunts and rightfully so more often than not
